Can You Visit Disneyland Paris Pregnant? Yes—And Here’s What To Know

Planning a trip to Disneyland Paris with a baby on board?

Let me start by saying: I’ve never done Disney pregnant myself—but after helping a few friends plan their babymoons, scouring every forum under the sun, and knowing the parks inside-out, I’ve pulled together everything you need to know to have a magical (and comfortable) trip.

Yes, you can still go.
Yes, it’s still worth it.
You’ll just want to take things a little slower, swap thrill rides for gentle ones, and factor in some well-earned snack breaks (pregnant or not, honestly).

This post covers what rides are safe, how to get a Bambi Band (Disney’s pregnancy priority pass), where to sit, what to pack, and even a few tips to help avoid the dreaded “Disney bug.”
It’s everything I’d share with a friend planning their first trip with a bump.

🎀 What Is the Bambi Band at Disneyland Paris?

The most important thing you need to get is a Bambi Band—Disneyland Paris’ pregnancy priority pass.

It’s a little wristband that gives you priority access to certain rides, shows, parades, and character meets, which honestly makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with pregnancy fatigue, aching feet, or just want to take things at a slower pace.

I’ve helped friends organise this for their own trips, and they all said the same thing: it was an absolute lifesaver.

How does it work?

The band lets you use shorter queues for pregnancy-safe rides and attractions. You can bring up to 4 guests with you on most rides, and 2 guests for shows, parades, and fireworks areas. For character meets, you’ll usually be given a return time instead of queueing on the spot. Just keep in mind—if you’re not riding, your guests will need to use the regular queue.

How do you get it?

Bring a MatB1 form, or a dated scan with your name on it, in either English or French, plus some photo ID. Then head to City Hall (Disneyland Park), Studio Services (Walt Disney Studios Park), or your Disney hotel reception to get your wristband.

A Few Things To Know

Not every ride is pregnancy-safe (even with the band), and you might still wait a little during peak times—but it’s nothing compared to the regular queues. The band doesn’t cost anything, and it’s 100% worth sorting out as soon as you arrive.

🪑 Where to Rest in the Parks (Without Buying Another Drink)

Disneyland Paris is magical… but it’s also a lot of walking. And when you’re pregnant, pacing yourself isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. The good news? There are plenty of calm corners and shaded spots where you can catch your breath without feeling like you have to buy another overpriced coffee.

Here are some of our go-to places for a proper sit-down:

  • Liberty Arcade (Disneyland Park – Main Street): Covered, quiet, and full of benches. This is my top pick for a breather—especially when it’s hot or raining.
  • Discovery Arcade (opposite Liberty Arcade): Often missed entirely, but just as peaceful. A great alternative if Liberty is busy.
  • Just between Frontierland and Adventureland: There’s a tucked-away shaded area with benches and toilet access. It’s rarely busy and feels like a little pocket of calm.
A quiet shaded pathway between Frontierland and Adventureland, ideal for a break during a Disneyland Paris pregnant visit.
  • Sleeping Beauty Castle upper level: Not many people head upstairs, so it’s a great spot for a quiet moment—and you’ll get some lovely castle views while you’re up there.
  • In front of Tower of Terror (Walt Disney Studios Park): There’s a small seating area here that’s surprisingly quiet. The building even blocks the sun a bit in the afternoon.
  • Avengers Campus – towards the exit of Flight Force: This whole area tends to be less crowded during the day, with wide-open space and a few quieter nooks to sit and recharge.

If you’re staying on-site, I highly recommend heading back to your hotel for a mid-day nap or swim.
Breaking the day up like that can make a massive difference—especially if you’re planning to stay out for fireworks later.

💡 Final Tips & Tricks for a Smooth Day

Just a few things that might not seem obvious now—but future you will be very glad you knew:

🦠 Protect yourself from the Disney bug

Big crowds = big germs. Keep hand sanitiser on you and use after every ride, avoid buffet tongs where you can, and don’t push through if you’re feeling wiped.
There’s nothing worse than catching something mid-trip.

🎆 Use your Bambi Band for fireworks

Ask a Cast Member early in the day about accessing the priority viewing area. It gets very busy, and people will bump into each other—having your own space makes a huge difference.

👟 Wear comfortable shoes

Disneyland Paris will have you doing a step count you didn’t even know was possible. Even if you don’t plan to, you’ll likely walk 15k+ a day. Save the cute shoes for photos.

💧 Bring a reusable water bottle

There are fountains dotted around the parks, and staying hydrated is non-negotiable—especially on warmer days.

🛑 Don’t feel pressure to “do it all”

Take breaks when you need to. This trip is all about comfort over chaos, and Disney isn’t going anywhere.

🤰 Is Disneyland Paris Worth It While Pregnant?

Absolutely—as long as you plan it in a way that works for you.

Swap thrill rides for gentle ones, take breaks often, and make the most of that Bambi Band.
You might not be racing from ride to ride, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be magical. Some of my favourite Disney days have been the slowest ones—more time to snack, people-watch, and soak it all in.

So yes, Disneyland Paris is still worth it pregnant. You just need comfy shoes, snacks, and a plan that lets you rest without missing the magic.
