Disneyland Paris Premier Access: How It Works & Should You Buy It?

I’ll be honest—I’ve never used Premier Access myself.

My niece is pretty patient in queues, and without kids of my own, I tend to visit outside school holidays when the queues are much more manageable.

Personally, I’d rather save that money for extra coffees (priorities!), but knowing how it works can definitely help if you’re travelling at busier times.

But if you’re visiting in peak season or with little ones who don’t love waiting around, it’s worth knowing how Premier Access works—because it’s Disneyland Paris’ paid queue-jump system.

In this guide, I’ll explain how it works, what it costs, and whether it’s actually worth budgeting for.

Just a heads-up: This post contains affiliate links. If you buy or book through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep the site running—and the Disney snacks flowing!

What Does Premier Access Get You?

Premier Access gives you access to special, faster queues on Disneyland Paris’ most popular rides.

It’s designed purely to save time as you’ll ride once per purchase (or per pass) and still queue briefly in the dedicated Premier Access line.

It doesn’t include ride photos, repeat rides, or special access to shows or parades. You’re simply paying to avoid the longer standby lines.

Premier Access One vs. Ultimate:
What’s the Difference?

Premier Access at Disneyland Paris comes in two forms: Premier Access One and Premier Access Ultimate.
Both help you skip the regular queues, but they work quite differently.

With Premier Access One, you pay to skip the queue for a single ride. You’ll be given a return time slot to come back and use the shorter Premier Access queue.
This works well if there are just one or two rides you’re keen to prioritise.

The rustic, jungle-themed entrance to Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril shows a 20-minute wait time and directional signs for single riders and Premier Access.

Premier Access Ultimate is a bundled pass that covers most of the major rides across both parks.
There are no return slots—you can simply join the Premier Access queue for each ride whenever you like.

You’ll get to skip the queue once per ride during the day, without needing to plan ahead.

How Much Does Premier Access Cost?

Prices for Premier Access at Disneyland Paris depend on which option you choose and how busy the parks are during your visit.

Premier Access One is charged per ride, per person, with costs starting at around €5 but rising to as much as €23 for the most popular rides on busy days.

The entrance to the WEB Slingers attraction features red and gray industrial styling, with signage for single riders and Premier Access, as families walk past.

Premier Access Ultimate is a one-day bundled pass covering most major rides, with prices typically starting from around €90 per person.

Like everything else at Disneyland Paris, prices can increase during peak seasons such as summer holidays and Christmas.

How Do You Buy Premier Access at Disneyland Paris?

Premier Access is all done through the Disneyland Paris app—so make sure you’ve got it downloaded before your trip.

Here’s how buying Premier Access works:

🎟️ Buying Premier Access One

You can only buy Premier Access One once you’ve scanned into the parks.

In the app, select your chosen ride—if Premier Access is available, you’ll see the little Lightning McQueen icon and a “Buy” button with the next available return time.
Pick your time slot, pay, and you’re all set.

🚀 Buying Premier Access Ultimate

This one can be bought in advance.

In the Disneyland Paris app, tap the “Buy” button at the bottom of the screen, choose “Disney Premier Access,” and select Ultimate.
You’ll need to link your park tickets or booking before you can pay.

💡Tip: Prices can vary depending on how busy the parks are. Premier Access One prices in particular can jump on peak days—so don’t be too shocked if it’s higher than you expected.

Is Premier Access Worth It?

For us, not really. We visit outside school holidays, follow a good ride plan, and would rather spend the money elsewhere.

That said, if you’re visiting in peak season—or just hate queueing—it can be a handy option to save time.

Premier Access One is useful if there’s a ride you’re desperate to skip the queue for. Ultimate works best for busy days when you want to avoid queues all day without planning.

No—Premier Access only covers rides. It doesn’t offer priority access for shows, parades, or character meet-and-greets.

Final Thoughts: Premier Access at Disneyland Paris

Premier Access at Disneyland Paris isn’t essential, but it can save you a lot of queueing time—especially if you’re visiting in peak season or only have one day in the parks. Personally, we stick to smart planning and early starts to avoid paying extra, but every trip (and every family) is different.

If you’re happy to splash out for a more relaxed day, Premier Access could be worth it. If not, with a good ride plan and a bit of patience, you can still experience the magic without it.

Either way, knowing how it works before you go will help you make the right choice for your trip.
