What is the weather like in Ibiza in October?

Ibiza in October still brings that weather you’ve been dreaming of escaping to, just without the price tag! It is warm enough to enjoy the beach but without the scorching summer heat and crowds of fellow travellers.

Daytime temps sit at around 23Β°C (73Β°F), great for lapping up the sun or exploring the island. When the sun sets, things cool down to about 15Β°C (59Β°F), giving you those refreshing autumn evenings.

We’ve spent many evenings on the beach, just enjoying the breeze as the sun goes downβ€”it’s truly magical!

You’ll get roughly 7 hours of sunshine a day, and while there are around 8 to 10 rainy days, those showers are usually quick, so there’s still plenty of time for fun in the sun!

Sunshine and Rainfall

Ibiza in October doesn’t skimp on the sunshine, with about 7 hours of sun each dayβ€”perfect for enjoying those rays!

But hey, it’s also the start of the rainy season, so expect around 8 to 10 days of rain this month.

Don’t worry, thoughβ€”most showers are quick and heavy, followed by bright, clear skies. We got stuck in a rainstorm last October, and spent time shopping in San Antonio during this. Not 1-hour later, Callum was on a jet ski! It really does clear up that quickly.

The weather might throw a few curveballs, but it’s usually back to sunshine before you know it!

Sea Temperature and Beach Conditions

If a beach holiday is on your mind, Ibiza In October should be at the top of your list.
The sea temperature is around 22Β°C (72Β°F), which is still nice and refreshing for a swim or some fun water activities.

Sure, it’s not as toasty as summer, but the water’s still plenty inviting.

The beaches are way less crowded, and the water stays pretty calm, making it ideal for snorkelling, paddleboarding, or just chilling by the shore.
