Flying to Disneyland Paris: Which Airport is Best? (2026 Guide)
I see a lot of people asking, “How do I get from Paris airport to Disneyland Paris?” But what many don’t realise is there are three airports.
This is how you accidentally end up at Beauvais Airport, forking out €40 each in transfers before you’ve even seen a sign for Disneyland.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure (kind of) of flying into all three… CDG, Orly and Beauvais. Some were smooth. Others were a lesson learned.
In this guide, I’ll break down which airport actually makes sense for your Disneyland Paris trip, so you can avoid my mistakes and get to the magic without the stress.
helps keep the blog running… and probably covers my next overpriced airport coffee while I wait for a delayed transfer. Thanks for the support!

🛫 Quick Comparison Table: Which Airport Is Best for Disneyland Paris?
| Airport | Distance from Disneyland Paris | Quickest Way | Cheapest Way | Do I Recommend? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CDG | 22 km (about 35 mins by car) | TGV train (10 mins) | Public transport (60–70 mins) | ✅ Yes – it’s my go-to |
| Orly | 35 km (about 45 mins by car) | Taxi, transfer, or hire car (45 mins) | Public transport (around 90 mins) | ✅ Yes – solid backup |
| Beauvais | 120 km (1.5–2 hours by car) | Private transfer or hire car (1.5 hours) | Shuttle or A03 bus + RER A (3+ hours) | 🚫 No – too much hassle |
For my last trip, flights from Manchester to CDG cost £97 return. Beauvais flights were £50 return.
Looks cheaper—until you spend €40+ each just trying to get from Beauvais to Disneyland Paris.
✈️ Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Distance from Disneyland Paris: 22 km (about 35 minutes by car)
Quickest way to get there: TGV train (10 minutes)
Cheapest way to get there: Public transport (around 60–70 minutes)
Do I recommend? Yes
CDG is my personal favourite. It’s the biggest airport in Paris, so you’ll usually find plenty of flight options throughout the day, which makes planning your trip a whole lot easier.
Once you land, transfers to Disneyland Paris are simple. You’ve got:
- TGV trains that get you to the parks in 10 minutes
- Taxis and private transfers
- Public transport
- And the Magical Shuttle, if you’d prefer a coach
- Hire cars are easy to pick up from CDG too. Pretty much every company has a desk here, so you’ve got loads of choice. The drive to Disneyland Paris is simple enough, and having your own car gives you full flexibility—ideal if you’re planning a few extra stops after Disney.

These all come with their own pros and cons, so I’ve broken them down in depth here in my full CDG to Disneyland Paris guide.
Air France mainly flies from CDG too, which means flights tend to get priority over French airspace, making delays less likely.
My only complaint about CDG is the under 12s passport control. There’s no proper system—it’s a bit of a free-for-all, and queues can take a while.
Just factor in the extra time when you land.
✈️ Orly Airport (ORY)
Distance from Disneyland Paris: 35 km (about 40–50 minutes by car)
Quickest way to get there: Taxi, private transfer, or hire car (around 45 minutes)
Cheapest way to get there: Public transport (around 90 minutes)
Do I recommend? Yes
Orly is a good backup if CDG flights aren’t working for you. The distance and transfer time aren’t much different to CDG, but flights are less frequent—especially if you’re flying internationally.
One thing I will say for Orly—it has much better passport control than CDG. It’s way more organised, and you’ll usually get through much quicker, especially if you’ve got kids in tow.

Transfer options from Orly are still pretty easy.
- Taxis and private transfers are the fastest.
- Public transport is the cheapest—you’ll take Metro Line 14 to Gare de Lyon, then switch onto the RER A straight to Disneyland Paris.
- Hire cars are another option if you’re confident driving in France. The route is straightforward, and having your own car gives you full flexibility.
- You’ve also got the Magical Shuttle, if you’d rather stick with a coach.
Again, we go in depth with all your transfer options here in my full Orly to Disneyland Paris guide.
✈️ Beauvais Airport (BVA)
Distance from Disneyland Paris: 120 km (about 1.5 to 2 hours by car)
Quickest way to get there: Private transfer or hire car (around 1.5 hours)
Cheapest way to get there: Shuttle (seasonal) or A03 bus + RER A (around 3 hours)
Do I recommend? No
Beauvais is often labelled as a “Paris” airport, but don’t be fooled—it’s miles away. Transfers to Disneyland Paris aren’t easy or quick, which is why I don’t recommend flying here unless your flight savings are massive.
You’ve got a few options:
- A direct shuttle bus, but this only runs in summer (June to September) and only on certain days.
- The rest of the year, you’ll need to take the A03 AeroBus to La Défense, then hop on the RER A to Disneyland Paris. Expect a three-hour journey, at least.

- Private transfers are possible, but pricey.
- You can also hire a car, though the drive is much longer than from CDG or Orly. It’s doable if you’re confident, but not ideal.
I’ve gone into full detail on your options in my Beauvais Airport to Disneyland Paris guide.
To put it simply—don’t let the cheap flights fool you. Once you add up the transfer costs and time, Beauvais often works out just as expensive as the other airports. It’s not worth it for most people.
