How We Disney Bounded at Disneyland Paris (Without Breaking the Bank)
How we dressed Disney-inspired for under £15 per outfit.
Looking cute at Disneyland Paris doesn’t have to mean spending a fortune (or sacrificing your feet). Here’s how we pulled off two days of Disney Bounding using budget-friendly finds, secondhand steals, and a few clever accessories.

🧚♀️ What Is Disney Bounding?
It’s all about wearing outfits inspired by Disney characters—without full-on costumes (which adults can’t wear in the parks anyway). Think colour schemes and character vibes: a yellow skirt, blue top, and red bow for Snow White. A green dress and top bun for Tinker Bell. You get the idea.
It’s comfy, creative, and totally allowed in the parks.
Our Looks at Disneyland Paris
We themed our days as Princess Day and Pixar Day. Here’s a peek at what we wore and what it cost:
- Me (Princess Day): Blue dress (borrowed), Princess tee (£3.50 – Shein), white Skechers (£5 – Vinted), white bow (75p – Shein)
- Me (Pixar Day): Lilac dress (£7 – Shein), neon shirt (£2 – Vinted), Buzz ears (£2.50 – Shein), Skechers (reused)
- Niece (Rapunzel): Tangled dress (£4 – Vinted), Tangled ears (£3 – Shein), custom bow (£1)
- Callum (Pixar): Pizza Planet tee (£5.99 – Shein), Lightning McQueen tee (£5.99 – Shein), matching hat (£2.25)
Most outfits came in under £15. Honestly? The planning was half the fun.
💡And don’t forget to plan your park bag too—I used my sister’s £7 Primark backpack, but Disneyland Paris actually sells a surprisingly good one for €10.
We picked one up on the last day of our trip and it’s coming with us again in January.

Disney Bounding on a Budget: Tips That Actually Work
Start With What You’ve Already Got
Check your wardrobe before you hit “buy now.” You might already have the perfect pieces. A red top, black skirt, and yellow shoes? That’s Mickey done.
Use Vinted for the Basics
Second hand clothes are a dream for Disneyland! I can almost guarantee you will spill something down you at some point…and it’s usually bright blue or red.

Remember to search by colour, not brand.
I found Skechers for £5 and the perfect Buzz shirt for £2 just by searching for the colours I wanted.
Bonus tip: Keep an eye on bundles. You can often grab two or three pieces from one seller for way less if they offer combined postage.
Etsy for the Finishing Touches
If you’re looking for something a bit more special—like themed earrings or handmade accessories—Etsy is a great place to browse. It’s not always the cheapest option, but it can totally elevate your look.
A few pieces I’ve bookmarked for future trips:
- ✨ Sun-shaped earrings for a Rapunzel Bound
- 🗼 Eiffel Tower charms for a Parisian Minnie twist
- 👑 Castle-inspired mouse ears (ideal for those castle photos)
Shein for Accessories and One-Off Pieces
Controversial, I know. But it’s cheap, fast, and full of bounding-friendly accessories. My Buzz ears were £2.50 and got compliments all day.

Borrow and Share
Don’t underestimate your friends’ wardrobes. My Princess Day dress was straight out of my sister’s closet—and honestly, if she hadn’t mentioned it, I’d have never thought to ask. We ended up swapping accessories too, and it saved both money and suitcase space.
Group Bounding at Disneyland Paris (Ideas That Actually Work)
Planning to go with friends or family? Coordinating outfits is such a fun touch. These are easy, heat-proof, and photogenic:
🎀 Princesses: Any pastel dress + sparkly hair clip. Job done.
👾 Pixar Crew: Bo Peep, Buzz, Woody, and Pizza Planet tees were our winners.
😈 Villains: Dramatic black, purple accents, red lips. Great for Halloween.

🦁 Lion King: Earth tones, comfy fabrics. Bonus: no ironing needed.
🛡 Marvel: If you’re heading to Avengers Campus, this is a no-brainer. Think red and black, electric blue and white.
❓ FAQs About Disney Bounding at Disneyland Paris
Can adults wear costumes at Disneyland Paris?
Nope—costumes are only allowed for kids under 12 (with a few exceptions during Halloween events). But that’s exactly why Disney Bounding exists—it lets you dress inspired by a character without breaking any rules.
Is Disney Bounding only for women?
Not at all! Anyone can Disney Bound.
Callum rocked a Pizza Planet tee and Lightning McQueen top, and it still counted.

You can go subtle or full glam—it’s absolutely not about the gender. I saw a guy with a great Inside Out Hawaiian shirt!
Do I have to match a specific character exactly?
Absolutely not. The best Bounds are the ones that feel personal. Use your character for colour inspo, then make the outfit something you’d actually wear.
My white Skechers would’ve looked better with the Buzz Disney Bound, but after 30,000+ steps the day before, there was no way. I went with my trusty black ones instead—and no regrets.
From calm classics to scream-if-you-dare thrill rides, I’ve pulled together a full List of Disneyland Paris Rides and Attractions (2025)—including which ones are the fastest rides at Disneyland Paris, which have height requirements, and which ones are worth using Premier Access for.
Conclusion
Finding what to wear to Disneyland Paris whilst still having fun doesn’t have to cost a fortune or involve anything overly dramatic. It’s just a fun, creative way to add a little extra magic to your day—and feel good doing it.
Most of our outfits were made up of things we already had, borrowed, or found secondhand for next to nothing. It wasn’t about looking perfect—it was about having fun, feeling confident, and making the photos way cuter than our usual hoodies and leggings.
