Through My Lens: Where the Mountains Meet the Sea

Fresh out of a long-term relationship, I got in the car and started driving. No real destination—just knew I wanted to be by the sea.

Four hours later I was on Harlech Beach in North Wales, standing in the sand as the sun dipped low over the water. I snapped this photo just before it disappeared completely—one of those quiet moments that makes everything feel a little bit lighter.

I slept in my car that night, parked by the dunes with my coat for a blanket. Woke up cold, but calmer. Not fixed, but ready to move forward. Sometimes that’s enough.

This was the same beach that Callum and I would have our first official trip to, 4 years later. Full circle moment.
