Disneyland Paris Bag Policy: Everything You Need To Know

Though just as magical an experience, these won’t apply to Disney Village as you do not require a ticket to visit.

Baggage Size Restrictions And Storage

Disneyland Paris’s bag policy has a strict size restriction for bags of 55cm x 40cm x 25cm (including wheels, pockets, and handles) inside the parks.

Anything above this will need to be left at the luggage storage facilities which are just outside the entrance gates. The price of this is around €10-20, and the luggage storage facility will be open until 1 hour after the park closes.
Additionally, Marne-la-VallΓ©e station has its own set of lockers, with a fee applicable.

Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to collect your luggage at the end of the day, as queues form quickly and you don’t want to miss any transfers you have booked…though I suppose there are worse places to be stranded than the happiest place on earth!

Food And Drink Policy

You are absolutely allowed to bring your own food and drink into Disneyland Paris, though there are some guidelines that Disney asks you to follow.

There is a designated picnic area positioned between the Disney Parks Car Park and the entrance to the Disney Parks, serving as a convenient spot for you to enjoy your meals. Disneyland Paris, however, prohibits the entry of meals requiring bulky equipment, such as cool boxes, tables, or bulky containers.

Non-glass water bottles are fine, and water fountains are conveniently placed throughout the park. During colder months, some fountains might be inactive to prevent pipe damage. Alcohol is, of course, banned, and if you are caught with it, you will promptly be asked to leave!

While waiting in queue lines, you are not permitted to smoke, eat, or drink. Nonetheless, small cold snacks and beverages are generally allowed.

Security Checks At Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris bag policy involves several highly effective security systems.

With successful collaboration with the French authorities, onsite security measures have continued to become more and more thorough through the years.
Some of these protocols are apparent to guests while others operate discreetly.

The most prominent of these systems is the use of bag checks, similar to airport security scanners, which are conducted before entry to any section of Disneyland.
Security personnel are active across the parks, although their presence might not always be clear. Active CCTV surveillance is maintained throughout the park premises.

Though the bag checks may be daunting for you and your family, they are there to provide the safest visit for you all! It is also vital that you follow the theme park rules set by Disneyland Paris at all times.

Is a backpack or Bum Bag better for Disneyland Paris?

This depends entirely on what you are planning to bring, and when you are visiting.

If you are planning to bring your own food and drink into the parks, then backpacks offer plenty of storage for this (and some cheeky souvenirs!), though it might feel bulkier to carry around. They are also the better option if you are visiting in the winter as layers are a must!

A bum bag (or fanny pack for our readers across the pond!) provides easy access to smaller items but has limited space. This would be ideal for those of you who want somewhere safe to access your phone, passports, and money, and who are taking advantage of the MANY food places that Disneyland Paris offers.

Can I Bring Medication Into Disneyland Paris?

Yes, you can bring medication into Disneyland Paris.

The park accommodates this by providing designated areas to store medication, even offering refrigeration if necessary.
However, it must be securely packed! You can read more about it here.

Conclusion: Disneyland Paris Bag Policy
